Description

Sarv coat 8729 is a two component polyamide cured, epoxy sealer. It is possible to formulate with MIO and without MIO.

Recommended Use

As sealer coat on metal surfaces and as an intermediate coat on zinc silicates to minimize popping.

Surface Preparation

Remove oil and grease, etc. with suitable detergent. Remove salt and other contaminants by (high pressure) fresh water cleaning. Clean damage area thoroughly by power tool cleaning to ST3 (minor areas)

Or by abrasive blasting to minimum SA2,  preferably to SA2½(for repair and maintenance)

Abrasive blasting to Sa2½SSPC-10 (for new steel)
